I'm doing well. The last few weeks have been different, to say the least, but I'm adjusting. There will be even more changes after the new year, but I'm feeling ready to handle them now. I really feel better now than I have in a very long time.

On Wednesday, I'm leaving for a Christmas vacation in New York. I'll be back on the 27th. Not sure if I'll have the time, ability, or even desire to be online while I'm there, so you may not see anything from me for a little while. I guess I'll try to draw something pretty and show you when I get back.

Then again, lately I've only been updating once or twice every couple of months, so you probably won't notice any difference.

Happy thanksgiving, whoever. A lot has happened. I don't really want to go into detail, but basically a lot of changes came on really fast and it took me a while to adjust and be okay with them. My creative muse also decided to die, but I don't know if that's related or not. Sometimes I work better under stress.

I'm thankful for a close friend of mine, who devoted an entire evening to making me feel better after I had a breakdown over all that's been going on lately. I'm also thankful that this whole issue ended peacefully, and everyone involved is going to be happier in the long run.

I haven't drawn much lately, so I decided to do one of those character meme's so that you people will have something to look at that is slightly more lame than my usual whatever.

No idea. I don't even have a favourite one to draw.

Not really any of them.

Probably Pyri, CFWF, or Dr. Eurhok. They all need work though. I should write something.

5) Which OC would you want to date if they magically came to life?

Let's see, green alien space pirate, dinosaur, or mute hippie who wears a bird skull? Pass.

6) How many female OCs do you have? Male OCs? It OCs?

Listed, four girls, two guys, and two robots that might as well be guys.

7) If you were stuck in a burning building what do you think the third OC on your list would do?

If I was the one stuck, probably nothing. If Pyri was stuck and I happened to be there with her, Val would do something like rocket straight through the walls of the building, grab Pyri and rocket out, possibly saving me along the way.

8) Name one thing you regret about one of your OCs.

Not really anything.

9) Which of your OCs do you think would make the best father/mother/it parent out of all your OCs and why??

Dr. Eurhok is already an awesome clonedad. If he were to actually have kids, though, he'd never meet them. His species does the whole sexual cannibalism thing.

10) Which of your OCs do you think will most likely be put in jail?

CFWF, with her complete lack of understanding of how things work on Earth, would probably do something stupid and end up getting arrested. Actually, that goes for most of these guys.

11) The eighth of your OCs was put into the future! What will their job be?

He's a space pirate to avoid having a job. So, same thing.

He doesn't have one, sooo...

13) Do all your OCs live together or are they separated?

Val was built to be Pyri's personal bodyguard/butler/best/only friend, so they've always lived together. Grunge used to belong to someone else, but is now Pyri's backup robot. Ampersand moved to another planet to become a professional Prizefighter, but left to rejoin her people after their home planet was destroyed. Dr. Eurhok and CFWF used to live together, and still see each other frequently. Guillemet has his own crew, and the druid lives in the woods.

14) Are there any pairings that are in your OC list? (they can’t be with someone else's)

If you want to be weird, I guess you could pair up Grunge and Valentine. Wierdo.

15) Your seventh OC switched bodies with you for a day! How will they react at the end of the day?

She'd probably wonder why her teeth are flat, her ears aren't pointy and what happened to her claws. Other than that, not a lot of difference. How blatantly self-inserted can I be?

16) Your last OC just became a fifteen year old. What do they do?

Compensate by acting even more badass.

Grunge

I don't know, but I'm getting there.

"Ugh, this place smells like rot. The sun is too hot, the water is too cold, and these tiny rocks are getting all over my dress! Earth natives like this?"
"I am not walking up that. Val, let me get on your back."

She's not easy to please.

Probably not.

22) Which OCs hate each other?

The druid doesn't like the idea of machines in general, especially not ones that run around and shoot things. Ampersand doesn't hate Pyri, but thinks she's a spoiled brat, rightfully so.

23) Which OC did you create first? And last?

CFWF has been around for a while, but used to just be a representation of myself. I didn't characterize her until 2007 or so, which is also around the time I started drawing the other characters on this list. Dr. Eurhok is the newest one to appear in my gallery, but existed in my mind for a while before that.

As for my oldest character EVER, well, I've had a lot. The oldest one I can remember was a (ugh..) Sonic fan character.

25) And if those two were fighting, who would win?

Let's just ignore that part about my oldest character ever and say that this is a fight between CFWF and the Doc. He'd squish her and then make another. The end.

26) Are your OCs fat or skinny?

They vary. Pyri is concerned about her appearance and doesn't eat nearly as much as she should, Ampersand eats a dozen raw eggs every morning and does crunches all day, etc.

27) What are your first 2 OC's favorite foods?

Most kinds of meat, and fancy stuff like caviar and whatever else rich people eat.

28) If your listed OCs were in a fight to the death, who would emerge victorious?

I think it would basically be between the two robots. Either Grunge would blow up Val before he could get close, or he wouldn't and Val would tear him apart.
Unless like, everyone else teamed up to take the robots out right away. This would leave Guillemet as the only one with a gun, so my bet's on him.

29) There's a zombie attack and your OCs are stranded. Who do they elect to be their leader?

Pyri would insist on leading, and would probably win by popular vote. Dr. Eurhok, CFWF, and the druid might take off on their own.

30) During said zombie attack, who's the first to die?

Robots can't be zombified, so Val and Grunge are safe. CFWF and Dr. Eurhok would go into space, possibly bringing the druid with them, but if they didn't she'd be first to die. The robots would make damn sure nothing happened to Pyri. I imagine Guillemet and Ampersand either going out in a futile battle versus a million billion zombies, or somehow defeating every last one of them.

because the manager at the Lynnwood Trader Joe's doesn't know what-the-fuck.

He had told me that the U-district Joe's had called him because they were looking for a sign artist, see. Turns out that they just wanted to borrow one of the artists from his location because they had some big project to do this week and wanted some extra help. They were never actually looking to hire anyone.

So I reluctantly go back to making cat pictures for eBay. I had stopped for a while, partly because I got really sick of drawing cutesy animals and partly because I just didn't think I was motivated enough to be self-employed, but since actual employment isn't working out that will just have to change.
